Sep 18 & 19 were very slow days for migrating hawks along the Lake Ontario
shoreline
Weather: full sun; light S wind; falling BP; TUV=2/1
Raptor Observations: On both mornings a local and a migrating Peregrine Falcon
passed through low, giving the photographers great views.
Non-raptor Observations: rose-breasted grosbeak, Am.pipits(75+),wood ducks,
yellowlegs, pectoral sandpiper, 5 great egrets, Wilson's warbler, Wilson's
snipe, c. yellowthroat, palm warbler, 3 black-bellied plovers, Bonaparte's
gull; one of the egrets had a red leg-band--impossible to read its number.
