and friends from across the border including: Chuck Sharbough of Holly MI.,
Art Thomson-Shaw of Ann Arbor, MI, and Roland Klekner.


Weather:
Not what it was supposed to be. Predominantly W winds, then S, N for about
10 minutes then back to W. High to 20C. Clear sky, but limited visibility.

Raptor Observations:
5 Golden Eagles, a surprise Peregrine at the end of the day up off the
lake, and a juvenile Red-tailed brought up to the tower by the raptor
banders.

Non-raptor Observations:
10 Tundra Swan low over the tower, Steady flow of Am. Crows - counted 577
between 10 a.m. & 11:00 a.m., and they stayed at that pace the rest of the
day but no time to count them, usual flocks of mixed blackbirds and Am.
Goldfinch with a smattering of Am. Robin, Orchard Oriole, Blue Jay, and a
Red-bellied Nuthatch.

Predictions:
Mostly clear skies. High 11C, Winds WSW at 8 to 16 km/h.
