Winds were light to moderate throughout the day and generally from the west although upper level winds appeared to be more out the southwest. Raptor Observations: There was very little movement until the afternoon today after which there was quite a decent flight if somewhat modest compared to the last couple of days. Another nice Golden Eagle passage was seen, much to the watching gangs appreciation, and included a group of three and another two flying in tandem. Two more dark morph Red-tails were also noted. Non-raptor Observations: In my early morning walk today I discovered a leucistic Robin, which was fairly typical in plumage below and on the head but the back, wings and tail were a pale coffee color. While albinism is quite common in Robins, I believe this is the first Ive seen with this coloration. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
