Hello Ontbirds people,

A male Oregon Junco ("Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon form") 1st reported on 12
November was seen again at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden today, 28 November at ~
1:00 pm. It was loosely associating with several other birds at the feeder
behind the FWG Interpretive Centre (building #138) including 2 White-throated
Sparrows and 3 Dark-eyed Juncos ("Slate-coloured form" - 2 males and 1 very
brown female).

DIRECTIONS:

>From downtown Ottawa, ON, take Preston St. south until it becomes Prince of
>Wales Dr. at Dow's Lake, continue south and look for the sign on your left
>indicating the Fletcher Wildlife Garden. The FWG Interpretive Centre (#138)
>is at the very end of the driveway..but there are many areas worth exploring
>here for birds, including those at the nearby Arboretum of the Central
>Experimental Farm. The Oregon Junco has also been seen by the feeders at the
>south side of the FWG (opposite Carleton University), as well as at the
>Arboretuem near building #72.
