We took a drive to Shirley's Bay today. I was happy to find a pileated woodpecker near the bird feeders. Here is a photo of this beauty: http://flickr.com/photos/kadacat/2138487935/. There were also flocks of bohemian waxwings but unfortunately they stayed high in the trees and I could not get a good photo of them.
Directions to Shirley's Bay 417 to Moodie Dr North.... Moodie Dr. north to Carling Ave..... Left on Carling and go to Rifle Rd.
