There was a breeding plumage female Wilson's Phalarope at the Nonquon S.L. in 
Port Perry this evening.  It was actively feeding in the south end of cell #3 
along with several other shorebirds.  (24+ Yellowlegs, with at least 6 being 
Greater, and one Least Sandpiper).  The only other birds of note were 8 - 10 
Purple Martins (at least 2 females) flying over cell#1 and a singing Northern 
Waterthrush in the swampy area to the west of the entrance gate.

A pass is required to bird at the Nonquon S.L.  The pass is $5 and can be 
obtained at the Waste Transfer Station at 1623 Reach Street, which is west of 
Simcoe Street or east of Hwy#12.  The station is open from Tuesday to Saturday 
(8-4) and until 6pm on Thursday's only.  The lagoons are located directly north 
of the transfer station and the entrance gate is located at 1730 Scugog Line #8 
(next road north of Reach Street).  You can get to Port Perry by going north 
off the 401 on Hwy#12 (Brock Street) in Whitby or Simcoe Street in Oshawa.
