Ontbirders,

There was a 1st alternate, male Summer Tanager feeding [with many migrants]
near the road edge, along Stanley Line, in South Lambton Co.this morning.[May
7]

>From Hwy 40, travel 1.1 km west on Stanley Line, to the 1st substantial
woodlot on the south side of the road. The woods is opposite the Terra plant's
tanker car shunting yard. It's a fair-sized woods, so good luck.

Other local birds of note include 7 Sandhill Crane's following the St. Clair
River north [at great height] and 45 alternate plumaged Lapland Longspurs,
along White Line, also west of Hwy 40.

James Holdsworth.
