Today Don Shanahan and I birded the beaches of Presqu'ile. In total 12
species of shorebirds were seen. 3 of the 9 red knots were flagged on the
left leg in the following colours orange with the letters CPD, dark green
and we beleive the third to be light blue.

Directions to Presqu'ile
Turn south at the Highway 30 exit on the Highway 401, which is the main
artery between Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. Brighton is
approximately halfway between Toronto and Kingston. Once you reach the town
(pop. 4500) watch for the signs to the Park
