Jim Fairchild found a Western Kingbird around 9:40 this morning in
Scarborough north of the Toronto Zoo. Jim called me and we found the bird
again at 11:00.

Directions: Exit the 401 at Meadowvale Road (exit 389) and proceed north on
Meadowvale past the Toronto Zoo. Turn left (west) on Old Finch Avenue and
then right (north) on Reesor Road. Continue north past the second rail
crossing until you come to the hydro right of way. Just at the north end of
the right of way, there is a small parking area (widening of the shoulder)
on the east side of the road. (If you reach Steeles Avenue, you have gone
too far). Stop at the parking area and walk around the concrete barriers on
the east side of the road. Proceed into the field under the hydro towers.
The bird was last seen in the trees just east of the wood pile just past the
first tower. It was first found further east past the second tower.
