A group of Stratford Field Naturalists birded West Perth Wetlands this evening. 
 We saw a good variety of shorebirds, herons, and aerial insectivores.

Semipalmated Sandpiper 5
Black-crowned Night Heron 2
Green Heron 1
Common Nighthawk 2
Northern Harrier 1
Redhead 4

West Perth Wetlands is located in Mitchell, about 20 km west of Stratford.  
From Ontario Street (Hwy 8) turn south on Wellington and follow it to Frank 
Street.  The lagoons are 200m directly south.
