This  am,  the  first  Cackling Goose of the season appeared at Reesor
  Pond - there were also :

  1 non-breeding adult Black-bellied Plover

  11 juvenile American Golden Plovers

  1 Semi-palmated SP + 1 Pectoral & 2 Spotted SPs

  1 Lesser & 2 Greater Yellowlegs + 50 or so Killdeers

  2 Wilson's Snipe

  1 Green + 2 Great Blue Herons & 2 Great Egrets

  5 American Pipits

  A  bitch  Coyote,  looking  in good condition, walked out on the north
  spit,  scared  up  some birds, ate some goose droppings, then casually
  departed
  Reesor Pond lies just north of Hwy 407 on Reesor Road in Markham
