If memory serves me correctly, that's the third Snowy down south in the past week or so. Considering that Boreals are also on the move already, it may be a very interesting winter.

Upon taking flight it was harassed by several Herring Gulls. It circled the island a couple times and landed on the south end. It took flight again, got harassed again and eventually flew off towards Simcoe Island. >From the 401 take Sir John A MacDonald parkway south to its end, turn right. Turn left at the next set of lights and turn into Portsmouth Olympic Harbour. Go to the Coast guard Search and rescue house and look over the water to the SW. Snake island is visible in the. Distance and quite small. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
