30 minutes ago I flushed a female Snowy Owl from Snake Island in Kingston Harbour. Upon taking flight it was harassed by several Herring Gulls. It circled the island a couple times and landed on the south end. It took flight again, got harassed again and eventually flew off towards Simcoe Island.
From the 401 take Sir John A MacDonald parkway south to its end, turn right. Turn left at the next set of lights and turn into Portsmouth Olympic Harbour. Go to the Coast guard Search and rescue house and look over the water to the SW. Snake island is visible in the. Distance and quite small.
