Weather: 100% cloud cover, 11-13C, wind SE @ 2-5 mph, Rain at start for 15 minutes then rain from 10:45-11:05, and 12:00-1:15. Raptor Observations: Count suspended from Noon to 1 PM because of rain. Count resumed 1 PM and terminated at 2 PM for lack of raptors. One immature Harrier seen all day. Non-raptor Observations: Large flock of Starlings with Red-wing Blackbird mix directly south of the tower in the wooded strip before the shoreline of Lake Erie in several trees. Other groups of blackbird (including Rusty) passed during dry spells. Ducks were nowhere to be seen early but materialized after 1 PM. Coots were numerous throughout the count period with about 40 seen.
