Observed a female hooded merganser at about 11:15am this morning in a
boat launch pond area off of Lake Ontario just before St Catharines.
Also had a look at both the male and female King Eider a first for me at
about 12 noon today just off the Fruitland exit #83 QEW via north
service road.
Directions for the Hooded Merganser take the QEW exit #55 Jordan Road to
North Service road you will immediately notice the Best Western Hotel.
The bird was is in the boat launch pool area right beside the old tall
ship near the Best Western.
