As one might suspect from the weather, not much to add to the Winter List at 
Point Pelee this morning except Bufflehead, Field Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow and 
Pine Siskin. Interestingly, the Pine Siskin was standing on the sand at the Tip 
next to a Killdeer. A female Cooper's Hawk also had some interesting behaviour. 
It would pick up one leg, squeeze its toes together, release them, then do the 
other leg. It did that over and over for the 15 minutes or so I watched the 
bird. Guess it needs some tiny polar fleece fingerless gloves to put over its 
feet so that its talons stick out.
