Hello Fellow Birders,

I was enjoying 52 Horned Larks feeding on the side of the road when all of a
sudden a Northern Shrike swooped down through the centre of the
flock scattering every bird away to safety.

In a field over to the west a Northern Harrier was hovering.

On the side of Newtonville Sd. Rd. a flock of Juncos & American Tree
Sparrows were feeding among the weeds.

In my backyard I viewed 24 Juncos, 4 House Finches Downy & Hairry
Woodpeckers, 12 Blue Jays, 2 Northern Cardinals, 1 White Breasted Nuthatch,
6 Black
Capped Chickadees, 14 Mourning Doves.

Direction: Take Newtonville cut off from # 401 and drive towards the lake
on the corner of Lakeshore Rd.

Take Newcastle cut off and drive till 500 meters before the lake.
