Hello Everyone,

White-winged Crossbills have decided to fly up and be counted for London's
100th consecutive Christmas Bird Count. The Hugh Casbourn/Sue Southon party
spotted a flock of 35 White-winged Crossbills at about 10:30 this morning in
spruce trees on the west side of Crestwood Drive, approximately 750 metres
south of Commissioners Road. For those familiar with London, Crestwood
Drive is opposite Reservoir Park at the top of Snake Hill.

I am posting for the group because they are still in the field looking for
more rarities.

Happy Between-Storms Birding!

Sue Read
