I regret to announce the passing of noted blue bird trail pioneer Hazel Bird, formerly of Harwood, Ontario. Hazel was a member of the Willow Beach Field Naturalist Club (Cobourg/Port Hope) and was highly respected and honoured for her work, dedication and leadership with regard to bluebirds over many years. Hazel was in her 89th year.
