After having not seen the pine grosbeaks for a couple days, they just made an
appearance (4:45 p.m.) in the crabapple tree again. There were 6 of them.
The pine siskins are still hanging around cleaning out the feeder and
chattering up a storm. A few juncoes have hopped through the backyard
occasionally. A cardinal has begun singing in the trees in the neighbour's
yard. The fat house sparrows are still squabbling over the wren box, all the
birds have been in a much chipper singing mood these past couple of days.

Glenburnie, north of Kingston, near the corner of Unity Rd. and Hwy 10.
