Greetings Ontbirders
This morning I saw an adult Red-shouldered Hawk soaring east high over
the north part of Brighton being followed by several crows. Although
one has been seen periodically in the south end of town (where it
wintered last year also), to my knowledge this bird has not ventured
to the north end of town. It seems early for a migrant, especially
since there hasn't been a southerly air movement in some time, so its
origin is a bit of a mystery.
Cheers,
Doug McRae
