On the way to Sudbury today I stopped to check a field of geese just outside
Desbarats, and had 2 white morph Ross's Geese along with a Cackling Goose and
about 250 Canada Geese. This was at about 10:30 a.m. I got a few identifiable
shots which I will post to my blog when I can. The link is

Good Birding,

David Bell, 17

Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Directions: Desbarats is located about 40km east of Sault Ste. Marie on Hwy 17.
The geese were in a field on the side of the highway about 1km east of town.
They were less than 100m away, providing excellent scope views. There are
numerous fields in the area which may also be worth checking.
