An interesting afternoon at Rattray Marsh in Mississauga. In the marsh area were a number of Herring Gulls of various ages. Off shore (mostly to the West) were large numbers of Red-necked Grebes (hard to count at the distance and with the waves, but certainly in the dozens), mixed with smaller numbers of Horned Grebes and Eared Grebes, all three in nice breeding plumage for the most part. There were also some Common Mergansers and Long-tailed Ducks in the distance.

Directions: Rattray Marsh can be accessed from several points along the shore here, most directly from Bexhill Road going S off of the Lakeshore Road W of Port Credit.
