Every year at this time since at least 2004, one or more Northern Mockingbirds have arrived at the parking lot of the Toronto Congress Centre. Today was the first day I spotted them; three this time, in their usual territory along the fenceline of the South East corner of the parking lot. They were squawking and chasing each other amongst the shrubs, weeds and litter that make up their chosen habitat.
The Toronto Congress Centre is located at 650 Dixon Rd. at Martingrove, just off Hwy 401. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
