April 30, 2009 at 7:30 am. A Snowy Owl was sitting on a fence post in the Ferndale Flats. Directions: From Wiarton go north on Hwy 6 to Little Pike Bay Road (4km south of Ferndale) The Owl was about 1km west of Hwy 6 and south of Little Pike Bay Road.
