In about an hour of excellent birding this morning (April 30th) before
it began to rain too hard, I saw a nice mix of warblers at Little
River. A Golden-winged Warbler was in the treetops near the south end
of the oxbow, while an Orange-crowned Warbler was also high up near the
point where the trail crosses the oxbow, NE of the toboggan hill. Six
more species of warbler and my first Lincoln's Sparrow of the year
topped it off.
Little River Park is accessible from the bridge at the end of Little
River Road on the east side of Windsor.
