Ross Lamb and I relocated the American White Pelican at Oshawa Second Marsh
this morning.
The bird was reported privately yesterday and had been seen Tuesday and
Wednesday.

The bird was sitting and preening out on the marsh where the cormorants sit
north of the GM viewing platform.

Directions to Oshawa Second Marsh:

Take Hwy 401 to the Harmony Street exit (exit 419). Go south on Farewell Street
to Colonel Sam Drive.
Turn left and proceed to the parking lot west of the GM headquarters building.

The American Avocet was also present this morning at the Pringle Creek location

Directions from Jean Iron's earlier post:

>From 401 take Brock Street in Whitby south to the bridge
over Pringle Creek.
