My brother, Ken Burrell, just phoned to tell me that he is at Mitchell Sewage
Lagoons and is looking at an adult Western Sandpiper. It is in the cell
closest (just to the east) to the buildings. he said there is not much else at
the lagoons.

To reach the sewage lagoons (also called the West Perth Wetlands) head east on
Hwy 8 (Ontario Rd) from the main intersection in town and go south on
Wellington St. At the end of the road you will see baseball diamonds in front
of you. There is a driveway and parking area at the start of the trail just
west of the ball diamonds.
