The adult Sanderling molting into winter (basic) plumage with a lime
green flag CP5 on the upper left leg, first reported by Margaret Bain
at Presqu'ile on Sunday 23 August and seen again today by Paul
O'Toole, was banded on 31 May 2008 at 8:53 a.m. at Mispillion Harbor
- Osprey Point, Delaware, United States.
On Monday, 24 August, after Ron Pittaway and I saw it at Owen Point
Lookout 3, we entered it on this website to find out where it was
banded and track where it has been resighted:
http://report.bandedbirds.org/Search.aspx To see a map and
information about where it was banded and resighted, enter Species:
Sanderling; Marker Type/Colour: lime green flag; and Marker Code CP5.
