Greetings fellow birders: Just returned from a trip to Moosonee with the following birds; 1. Unknown Empidonax flycatcher 2. Ring billed gull 3. Herring gull 4. Osprey 5. Boreal chickadee 6. Yellow warbler - fall female 7. Common raven 8. Common goldeneye - adult female 9. Common tern 10. Mallard Noted a large gathering of shorebirds along the James bay coastline roughly 9 miles north of Moosonee on the Moosonee River. most appeared to be peeps such as Least and Western sandpipers. We ventured out during low tide, so there were extensive mud flats with the shorebirds feeding. Good birding!
