Seven Juv. Long-billed Dowitchers present this evening. One of the
most numerous shorebird species present! A Merlin flew by twice, which
may have been the cause for low numbers. A large variety of ducks also
present.

Below are some old directions posted for this site on ontbirds: but be
warned! There are two lane ways close to the bridge. Do NOT go down
the pathway with waste concrete spilt at the end - you will get stuck
in a thicket of bushes and poison ivy! (At least I did)... Go down the
pathway with the open gate - it is a grassy ATV trail. You will come
to a spot where the fence is abnormally high from the ground.

At Wolfe Island today, Bob Stamp and I had a Greater White-fronted
Goose and a Cackling Goose on private proprety. At least its a heads
up they're around.

All the best!
