The oft mentioned American White Pelican continues to show well at Wildwood Lake, with great views from the 2nd [western] bridge. I watched the bird take flight [with another birder whose name is gone already!!] and soar high to the east before I left - but previous Oxford specimens tended to do the same thing, only to be refound in the same spot a few hours later.
Other birds of note were 2 Long-billed Dowitcher, 2 White-rumped Sandpiper and a 2nd yr. Bald Eagle. Shorebird numbers are poor, for the date and diversity is low. Directions can be taken from previous posts.
