Total observation time: 7 hours
Official Counter: Bob Pettit
Observers: Jim McCoy, Justin Bosler, Karen Padbury, Olga Klekner,
Sarah Rupert, Steve Greidanus
Visitors:
Rayan Sokoloski helped with the distance birds during several hours. There
were many visitors to the tower BUT EVERYONE of them had to walk from the
CLOSED GATE.
THE GATE WILL BE OPEN ON HUNTING DAYS: M, W, F AND SAT. UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE.
Weather:
A fine day for viewing birds. But there were few. See hourly data.
Raptor Observations:
Not many birds. Perhaps the rainy weather caused them to remain and feed
since the rainy period was less productive.
Non-raptor Observations:
Many passerines moved through in the first hours of the count then were not
to be seen often.
