A few minutes after sunset this evening, a very late migrating Common Nighthawk was spotted by my wife Beth, and also seen by Pam Snyder and myself, directly overhead at about 60 or 70 m. The lone bird was flying very quickly to the SSW in an uncommonly direct line.
