Visibility was very clear, and cloud cover was just about 100% all day. It did rain about four times for a very short time each time. Raptor Observations: 60 Turkey Vultures made up most of the the flight today. It was a very slow flight, but a Northern Goshawk was nice to see. Non-raptor Observations: 7 Bufflehead flew around and were nice to see. Predictions: They say for Tuesday that it will be West-North-West wind around 12mph. If it does that, or it has any kind of North wind then it should be good. Just a note to and for those who want to come out to the count. With the time change I start at around 8:30am now...since just a few days ago it would have been 9:30am. So start time is between about 8:30-9:00am. Then depending on flight and weather end time is now around and between 2:00-4:00pm ======================================================================== Report submitted by Seth Cutright ([email protected]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
