----------------------------------------------------------------------

Observation start time: 10:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 5 hours

Official Counter: Greg Norwood

Observers: Darlene Friedman, Mark Wloch, Richard Naber, Rodney Laura

Visitors:
Dan Gertiser, Pat Mulawa, Ron Harkness, Gloria Harkness, Terry Kowalczyk,
John Stewart, Lorie Oye, Don Sherwood, Rosemary Brady, Paul Cypher, Al
Kostyniak and others

Weather:
It was unseasonably warm with hazy conditions limiting visibility to about
5 to 6 km. Winds were not conducive for migration at this site with light
east-south-east all day and no cloud cover to easily pick up the birds that
were moving through.

Raptor Observations:
The first two hours were the best with one juvenile northern goshawk flying
right overhead, 1 light morph rough-legged hawk, and two golden eagles
essentially right over the count.

Non-raptor Observations:
During the passage of the second golden eagle, a lapland longspur flew
over. An American golden plover flew across the water over Gibraltar in the
afternoon.

Predictions:
Tuesday may be good if it doesn't rain, but Wednesday with a north wind is
looking really good.
