Olga Klekner stopped by in the afternoon for a short bit. Weather: Partly cloudy skies early becoming mostly cloudy by noon and overcast by early PM. East to East-southeast winds at 3 to 10 mph. Temps. ranged from about 7 to a high of 10.2 C. Visibility was generally poor all day as a result of the persistent haze. Raptor Observations: Both adult Redshoulders in the 1000 to 1100 hour. Non-raptor Observations: Tundra Swan- 11, Bald Eagle- 2 (resident pair), Horned Lark- 135+, Am. Crow- 30, Lapland Longspur- 15+, Snow Bunting- 100+ (flock of ~100 and a couple singles), Purple Finch- 1, Pine Siskin- 2, Am. Goldfinch- 105. Predictions: Cloudy skies with some patchy AM fog. South wind at 5 to 10 mph. High of 11C.
