Just left the goose in a corn field at 2:00 pm just east of 234 Elm Tree Rd. E. on the escarpment south of Grimsby. The best way to get there, is to take the Bartlett exit off the QEW which is east of the Christie exit on earlier posts. Go towards the escarpment and you will see that Bartlett doesn't go up! Go one road west, back into town and turn left up Park Road which you will see, goes up the escarpment. At the top, keep going south but not too far, and turn right onto Elm Tree Road. The corn field is just down on the left. It was with many Canada's and there was also a white goose there too but I don't have a scope and couldn't tell for sure if it was a Snow or barnyard goose!
Merry Christmas! Gerry Whitworth P.S. When will the decision be made that it is a wild goose or not!?! _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
