Hello Ontbirders,
Thursday and Friday afternoon, a Snowy Owl has been observed by some members of
the Club des ornithologues de l'Outaouais, on the ice of the Ottawa River above
Deschenes Rapids. The bird, seen from the south end of Vanier Road on the
Québec side is a juvenile specimen with rather dark feathers. At dusk, on
Friday, it perched for a while on what seems to be the Britannia Yatch Club
flagpole.
