A mockingbird has been showing up behind my school in south Oshawa
intermittently for the last two or three years. Presumably it (or they?) are
resident. I saw one again yesterday.
From the 401 take the Simcoe Street exit and go southeast on Simcoe about 2
km (1 1/4 miles) to Harbour Road, which runs east from Simcoe; on the west
side of Simcoe is Glenholme School and Southmead Park. The mockingbird
frequently appears in the bushes along the fenceline between the school and
the park.
