Hi All

It was a slower morning in the park, with rain just letting up this
afternoon.

A Louisiana Waterthrush was found along the north part of the Woodland
Nature Trail, along with Rusty Blackbirds. A Marsh Wren was reported here
early this afternoon as well.

There has been a big movement of White-throated Sparrows into the park in
the last couple of days. They have been seent throughout the park,
especially along the roadside during the rain.

A lone, male Purple Finch, was found in the DeLaurier Parking lot this
morning, feeding with a flock of Chipping and Field Sparrows.

A returning Green Heron was noted in the drainage ditch along Concession E,
just north of the park.

On another note - Point Pelee National Park is happy to announce the
program "Tweets from the Point". We are diving into the world of Twitter
and will be sending out updates and highlights of spring migration
throughout the month of May to www.twitter.com/PointPeleeNP .

Good birding everyone!
