Good morning everyone!

It is a blustery, cool morning at the Point, but we're still seeing
migrants.

All three species of Scoter were spotted in the waters off the Tip this
morning.

The Woodland Nature Trail continues to be an excellent spot to view
waterthrushes - both Louisiana and Northern were seen side by side this
morning, causing great debate!

A Lawrence's Warbler was reported this morning from the DeLaurier trail,
just south of the homestead. Birders are currently on site trying to
relocate the bird. Eastern Meadowlarks and Eastern Bluebirds were also
noted this morning.

The north end of the park was good for birding last evening, with reports
of Black-and-white, Palm and Yellow Warblers, and Northwest Beach and
Sanctuary picnic area. A White-eyed Vireo, was reported from Northwest
Beach this morning.

Water is starting to be pumped into the shorebird cell at Hillman Marsh,
creating some additional duck habitat. Recent work on the marsh dikes has
lead to very muddy conditions on site. Until the area dries up, rubber
boots are highly recommended.

Good birding everyone!
Sarah
