Hello Birders,

Today at roughly 6:00 PM, myself and Kyle Holloway had a Louisiana
Waterthrush at the start of the Crawford Lake Trail at Crawford Lake
Conservation Area in Milton. The bird was hanging around alongside a small
river adjacent to the lake, right at the start of the trail. After some
pishing, the bird sung a few times and perched in the open for great views.
Shortly afterwards, what appeared to be another Louisiana Waterthrush
sounded off somewhere nearby. There was a shuffle of activity, and the
original bird apparently chased off the second bird, as we did not hear or
see it again. The original bird, however, sung a few more times and provided
a good study of it's plumage details.
