Good evening Ontbirders. The Worm-eating Warbler at Rondeau was seen again on Spicebush Trail early this afternoon, near the corner farthest from the entrance. A good variety of warblers was reported from Tulip Tree, South Point and Spicebush Trails.
On South Point Trail, a number of Red-headed Woodpeckers were seen, including one apparently excavating a nest hole. One bird also visited the feeders at the Visitor Centre. Near the park, reports from Blenheim Sewage Lagoons included 1 Red-necked Phalarope, 200+ Dunlins, 6 Lesser Yellowlegs and 1 Least Sandpiper. Observers saw no sign of the female Yellow-headed Blackbird seen there yesterday. At Erieau, the Glaucous Gull was seen again.
