Hey Birders,

While not too crazy or anything, this morning while on my way to a job site
about 90km north of Kapuskasing, a Great Gray Owl was seen hunting around
5:30am beside the road. Other interesting birds noted include 1 singing
Connecticut Warbler, 1 Black-backed Woodpecker, several White-winged
Crossbill's, and a single Spruce Grouse.

Veery's as well as a single Scarlet Tanager were also observed.

Good Birding,

Ken Burrell

Kapuskasing till... who knows

Directions: in Kapuskasing, turn left (north) at the Chain of Lakes Motel, take
this ~90km following signs for the Lower Mattagami River Project. The Great
Gray Owl was seen at KM marker 52. The other birds were in various locations
from km marker 72-90.
