To add to Lev Frid's post concerning Long Point...

Nancy Smith and I, also enjoyed a very sunny day at Long Point Saturday,
and were alerted to the existence of SEDGE WRENs in Long Point PP by a post
on the board at Old Cut.

At least 3 singing males were out near the end of the 'Cairn' trail, calling
from the edge of the phragmites(?). The unmarked trail is just north of the
'Cairn' near the end of the campground road.

Be aware that the ticks are VERY abundant on this trail, and we spent a good
deal of time picking the little suckers off, up to a half hour after being
on the trail.

Good Birding, and good 'ticking'....
