MERLINS NESTING IN ST. THOMAS ONT. I have a pair of MERLINS nesting in an eastern white pine tree in my backyard. There appears to be three chicks (two for sure) that are fully fledged. This morning the chicks made their first flight to adjacent spruce and walnut trees. >From my understanding, this nest is a first reported for ELGIN COUNTY.
