Early this afternoon I came across a female Dickcissel out Rondeau's Marsh Trail. I was on my way back to the parking lot after walking half way out the trail when I caught sight of the bird. I had a good look at it through binoculars before it disappeared into some trees. (Almost did not bother to look at this bird!).

Also of note:
Early this morning I saw a congregation of about 60 Common Loons a few km east of Rondeau Park near the foot of McKinley Rd. on Lake Erie.

The Dickcissel (dull female) was perhaps 300m or so from the Marsh Trail parking lot.
Rondeau Provincial Park is found by exiting 401 at #101 (Kent Bridge Rd.)
and travelling south to Rose Beach Line. Turn right and head towards the
park. Watch for prominent highway signs.
