Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 17:00:00
Total observation time: 9 hours

Official Counter: Jeff Schultz

Observers: Don Sherwood

Visitors:
All Volunteers.

Weather:
The day began cloudy with light winds out of the west. Winds picked up
through the day and pushed out the cloud cover.

Raptor Observations:
Good weather conditions made for great flight conditions. This is our first
real day of migration. We had 1,611 individuals counted out of 11 species.

Non-raptor Observations:
Shorebird migration continues, regardless of our lack of good shorebird
habitat. Fly-by counts of 26 Black-bellied Plover, 3 Lesser Yellowlegs, and
1 Baird's Sandpiper.

Predictions:
Weather should continue to work in our favor and increase the number of
raptors on the move.
