Today around 1:30 pm myself and co-worker Kevin Dance observed a red-throated
loon in basic pummage about 100 m offshore of Point Clark in Lake Huron.  The
bird was observed from a job site on private property but there are public
access points immediately north of where we were at the Point Clark Lighthouse
Historic Site.

Other birds seen include 20 plus black-bellied plovers, 1 horned grebe, 6
greater scaup, 1 Bonaparte's Gull, plus the standard odds and sodds - RBGU,
HEGU, GBGU and MALL.

Follow hwy 86 west of hwy 21 to Lake Range Rd. and turn right, follow to Huron
Rd. turn left, follow to Lighthouse Road turn left, go to end, park, go to
lake,
bird on.
